The Shopkeeper Story Map collects and “pins” stories and images about life in the Chinese shop in the Caribbean onto an online map of the region (for an example, see: http://countercultures.net/design/category/jamaican-stores/) to create an innovative visual representation of the impact of the Chinese in the Caribbean and a unique online historical archive that memorializes the hard work and contributions of the Chinese shopkeepers in the Caribbean.
